Trial Version of Labor Management Information System Launched

On Tuesday, 10th of May 2016, Mr. Rajeev Pratap Rudy the MSDE Minister launched the Beta version of the single window online platform known as Labor Market Information System (LMIS). The system designed and developed by Silver Touch Technologies Limited aims to further the skill India campaign that was launched on 15th July 2015. This system works like a marketplace that allows skilled labors and potential employers connect and collaborate to increase job opportunities of skilled labor. It also offers information on certain skills, along with the necessary resources and tools. The aim is to increase the percentage of skilled labor in India. Currently, the Beta version has been launched. The two month trial period is aimed to improve the functionality and remove the bugs in the website.
